If payment has already been processed, any cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Payment

6. Shipping

Shipping times are estimates only.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for complete shipping information.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the shipment has been delivered to the shipping carrier.

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Certain products, including opened electronic components or products damaged through misuse, may not be eligible for return.

8. Product Compatibility

FPV components are designed to work within specific electrical and mechanical specifications.

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchasing.

If you are unsure whether a product is compatible with your build, please contact us before placing your order.

9. Installation and Use

FPV equipment should be installed and operated only by individuals familiar with its safe use.

Improper installation, modification, or operation may result in equipment damage, personal injury, or property damage.

Ottawa FPV Shop is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, crashes, modifications, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

10. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties, when available, are provided by the original manufacturer.

Ottawa FPV Shop will assist customers with warranty claims where possible, but warranty approval remains subject to the manufacturer's policies.

11. LiPo Batteries

Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries require proper handling, charging, storage, and use. By purchasing LiPo batteries from Ottawa FPV Shop, you acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with lithium battery technology.

Customers agree to:

  • Use only chargers specifically designed for LiPo batteries.
  • Never leave batteries unattended while charging.
  • Store batteries in a safe, dry location at the manufacturer's recommended storage voltage.
  • Inspect batteries before each use and discontinue use if a battery becomes damaged, swollen, punctured, or otherwise unsafe.
  • Dispose of damaged or expired batteries in accordance with local regulations.

Ottawa FPV Shop is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper charging, storage, handling, installation, misuse, crashes, modifications, or failure to follow manufacturer recommendations.

Due to safety regulations, LiPo batteries are not eligible for return once they have been shipped, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws or if the product arrives defective.

12. Open-Box and Used Products

Ottawa FPV Shop may offer Open-Box, Used, Refurbished, or Demo products.

These products are individually inspected and their condition will be clearly described on the product page.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Open-Box products have been opened but are fully functional.
  • Used products may show cosmetic wear from previous use.
  • Refurbished products have been tested and restored to proper working condition.
  • Demo products may have been used for display, testing, or demonstrations.

Product listings will indicate what accessories, packaging, and documentation are included.

Because these products are sold at a discounted price, minor cosmetic imperfections do not qualify as defects.

Warranty coverage, if any, will be stated on the individual product page.

Returns for Open-Box, Used, Refurbished, or Demo products are subject to our Refund Policy and may be limited depending on the product's condition and description.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
